DANCE SCULPT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Dance Sculpt! We are committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for all members. By participating in our classes, services, and memberships, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using our website, booking a class or session, purchasing a membership, or attending a session at Dance Sculpt, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. PARTICIPATION & HEALTH DISCLAIMER

  • You acknowledge that participating in Pilates, dance, fitness classes, and Vitality Suite services involves physical exertion and inherent risks.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and physically capable of participating in our classes and recovery services.

  • If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you must seek approval from a qualified healthcare professional before attending any session.

  • By joining Dance Sculpt, you confirm that you are voluntarily participating in all activities and assume full responsibility for any risk of injury or harm.

3. BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOW POLICY

Class & Vitality Suite Bookings:

  • Bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance.

  • Spaces are limited, and we recommend booking early to secure your preferred class or Vitality Suite session.

  • Late arrivals may not be admitted to class or may have their Vitality Suite session time shortened to avoid disrupting other bookings.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

For Classes:

  • 12-hour cancellation policy – Cancellations made within 12 hours of class start time will result in a $15 late cancellation fee.

  • No-shows will also incur a $15 fee.

For Vitality Suite Appointments:

  • 24-hour cancellation policy – Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may result in a loss of session.

  • No-shows will forfeit the session and will not be refunded.

4. MEMBERSHIPS & PAYMENT TERMS

Membership Agreement:

  • Memberships are ongoing contracts with a minimum commitment of 4 weeks (4 weekly payments) unless otherwise stated.

  • After the minimum term, your membership will automatically renew until a written cancellation request is submitted with at least 30 days' notice.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Billing & Payment:

  • Membership fees are debited weekly on Thursdays. If your signup date falls outside of our billing cycle, your first payment will be prorated accordingly.

  • Any failed or late payments must be resolved immediately to avoid disruption to your membership access.

Pausing & Cancelling Memberships:

  • Membership pauses and cancellations must be requested via email at admin@dancesculpt.com.

  • Pausing memberships: Subject to studio approval. Minimum and maximum hold periods may apply.

  • Cancelling memberships: Requires 30 days’ written notice via email. You are responsible for any outstanding payments due within the notice period.

  • If you wish to rejoin after canceling, you may be required to pay a rejoining fee or sign up under new membership rates.

5. STUDIO POLICIES & CODE OF CONDUCT

To maintain a positive and inclusive environment, all members must adhere to the following:

  • Respect staff and fellow members at all times.

  • Arrive on time—late arrivals may not be admitted to class or may have their session time shortened.

  • Grip socks are mandatory for Reformer classes for hygiene and safety.

  • Phones must be silenced or stored away during class.

  • The studio reserves the right to refuse service or terminate memberships for disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior.

6. LIABILITY & WAIVER

  • Dance Sculpt, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained while participating in classes, Vitality Suite services, events, or studio activities.

  • You understand that fitness and recovery activities carry inherent risks, and by participating, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any potential injury or harm.

  • Personal belongings are your responsibility—Dance Sculpt is not liable for lost or stolen items.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

  • We respect your privacy and only collect necessary personal information to provide you with our services.

  • Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

  • By signing up, you agree to receive emails and communications regarding your membership, studio updates, and promotions. You may opt out at any time.

8. CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Dance Sculpt reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Any significant changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian Capital Territory.

10. AGREEMENT & ACCEPTANCE

By purchasing a membership, attending classes, or using any of our services, you confirm that you:

✔ Agree to be bound by these policies.
✔ Accept full responsibility for your participation.
